Within the limits of the proof testing, K-Bond has average dentin bond strength and Self-etch enamel bond strength is slightly below average for universal adhesives. Etching enamel with phosphoric acid is recommended for maximum bond strength and marginal integrity. SEM imaging of restorations placed in teeth showed a consistent film thickness under 10 microns.
